“The difference between taking a photo and making a photo.”
In today’s day and age, taking a quick photo is a mere press of a button. Within split seconds, one can have a completely perfectly finished, edited, color-graded and ready-for-instagram photo. Almost too perfectly. I think true perfection in photography lies within the small details of human imperfection. Those imperfections only come through in a photo when one’s making , truly crafting it. Crafting, making, means pouring one’s whole heart and soul into an art form, and accepting the imperfections that come along the process, for the sake of the art.
I do not only take photos. I make photos.
